Affiliate disclosure

If you sign up through links on SlotScroll we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects our ratings.

What this site is

SlotScroll is an independent comparison publisher. We cover the casino operators registered with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario that hold an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. We are not a casino: we do not accept wagers, hold player funds, operate games or run promotions, and we have no access to any account you may open with an operator.

How we are paid

We participate in affiliate programmes operated by, or on behalf of, the operators we review. When you follow a link from this site to an operator and go on to register an account, and in some cases to make a deposit, the operator may pay us a commission. Payment structures vary between programmes and may be a one-off fee per registered player, a share of the operator's net revenue from that player, or a combination of the two.

You pay nothing extra. Whatever the operator makes available to you is the same arriving through our link as it would be arriving directly, and it is shown to you on the operator's own site rather than here. We do not add fees, and we never ask readers for payment.

How our links are marked

Every outbound link to an operator on this site is an affiliate link. Those links carry the HTML attributes rel="nofollow sponsored noopener", which is the standard machine-readable marking for paid links, and they are visually presented as “Visit” buttons distinct from editorial links. A short affiliate-disclosure notice appears near the top of every commercial page, above the first commercial link, and a fuller statement appears in the footer of every page.

Outbound operator links point at the operator's own Ontario-facing address, and each one carries a data-brand identifier so that a tracking URL can be substituted from a single configuration file without changing any page. Every URL is re-fetched on each verification cycle and the result, including any failure, is printed beside the operator.

The editorial firewall

Our ranking order and our scores are produced by the six weighted criteria described in our rating methodology: registration and regulatory standing, transparency of published information, banking and payout information, game range and studios, responsible-gambling tooling, and support and accessibility. Promotional generosity is not a criterion, because we neither see nor publish promotions. The following rules govern the relationship between commercial and editorial work at SlotScroll:

  • Commission rates play no part in scoring and are not visible to the reviewer during scoring.
  • No operator can purchase a position, a score, a badge or a “recommended” label.
  • No operator reviews or approves our copy before publication.
  • No operator can require the removal or softening of a criticism as a condition of a commercial arrangement.
  • We publish criticisms of operators we are paid by. Examples in this edition include the two AGCO advertising penalties recorded against BetMGM Canada, the C$100,000 penalty against DraftKings' Ontario entity, and the four operator URLs our own checks could not verify.
  • Where the highest-scoring operator has the smallest commercial value to us, it still ranks first.

We think the clearest evidence that the firewall holds is that our order cannot be bought with marketing at all: nothing an operator promotes is visible on this site, our highest-ranked operator carries the longest enforcement record on the list, and operators with no documented affiliate programme — from whom we can earn nothing — still appear in the table.

Accuracy and the limits of this disclosure

Registrations lapse, operators leave the directory and Ontario URLs move. The facts on this site were checked 31 July 2026 against the sources named on each page. The operator's own terms, as displayed in your account at the moment you deposit, are the terms that apply. Nothing on this site is legal, financial or tax advice.

Regulatory context

In Ontario the AGCO Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming apply to marketing carried out on an operator's behalf, and Standard 1.19 makes the registered operator answerable for the conduct of its affiliates. That is why nothing on this site advertises an inducement, bonus or credit (Standard 2.05), nothing is described as free or risk-free (Standard 2.06), responsible-gambling messaging appears alongside all operator content (Standard 2.08) and the ConnexOntario contact is displayed on every page (Standard 2.09). We also apply the same restraint to our own advertising: no urgency devices, no depiction of gambling as income, and no imagery designed to appeal to minors.

Ontario only, 19+. SlotScroll covers the regulated Ontario market. You must be 19 or older and physically located in Ontario to play with an operator registered by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Gambling is adult entertainment with a cost, not a way to make money. Free, confidential help is available 24/7 from ConnexOntario on 1-866-531-2600, or text CONNEX to 247247. The regulator’s own player help page is at iGaming Ontario.
